Dr. Zakir Laliwala

I have done Ph.D. from Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology (DA-IICT) under the guidance of Dr. Sanjay Chaudhary. In the year 2009 I have started my own venture, Attune Infocom Pvt Ltd after having spent nearly 10 years in IT. I have been involved with Open Source standards and technologies for several years. I have worked on various Open Source products for SOA, BPM, ESB, Portal, CMS, Grid Computing, Cloud Computing and Semantic Web. I am also associated with Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology (DA-IICT) as Adjunt Faculty, where I teaches to Master of Science (Information Technology) students.

Prior, I was working as a SOA Practice Lead & Principal Consultant at Cignex, Ahmedabad, India. Prior to Cignex, I worked as a Web Services Architect at IBM, India Software Lab, Bangalore, India. I have worked on the IBM WebSphere SOA foundation products and various tools and standards of Web Services and Service-oriented Architecture.

As a Portal Architect & Liferay expert and trainer I have given Liferay consulting and training (onsite and online) to various clients such as FulcrumWW, L & T Infotech, Congruent Solutions, Silvertouch Technologies, Aufait, Sambaash and Blue Star Infotech. I have provided various solutions on Liferay Loan Balancing, Performance Tuning and Clustering.
